I recently changed my theme of my wordpress for easier navigation but when i changed my theme i had many problems. With the new theme i found that it had a home tab that could not be deleted and i was losing post that i had done. Today that was fixed and now i have a welcome page that is the same as the home page which are both static pages. I also added a little moving image to the welcome page.

In last weeks presentation we were shown how to use google Docs which is a program similar to excel where student can use the same spreed sheet and can see what one another are putting into the spread sheet as it occurs. This program will be very useful in classrooms as it allows them to compare the two programs and how productive their are. It allows students to have a different application to create spread sheet, if they do not have access to excel. It also allows you to create forms as Microsoft access does.

The reason that i am creating this site is as an assessment for the unit EDST441 ICT Curriculum and Teaching 1. In our lectures and tutorials we are learning about the different programs and subjects that can be implemented into our classrooms and teaching practices. When i finish my degree at the end of 2010 i will be required to have a EPortfolio that allows a potential employer to see what i have accomplished while studying at university.
